I live in South Jersey and I want to start doing some house cleaning to earn some extra money. If you have your house cleaned around here or do it yourself around the area, what is the cost for a small house, large house, different services, ect.? Thanks so much for the help!

I feel like I am constantly cleaning and yet I never get time to do any deep cleaning. I should say I spend alot of time straightening. My house always feels messy to me. How do you keep your house clean? I don’t have alot of clutter, but I have trouble getting my family to not just drop there stuff all over the kitchen counters etc. I am planning on making a list of chores that I need to do daily, weekly, monthly, etc.. I do shampoo my carpets twice a year, but I don’t think I’ve only cleaned the windows once in 6 years. How do you get it all done and how much time do you spend.

People who adhere to the “if you havent used it in 1 year throw it out” pertaining to clutter.
So I havent had an job interview and havent used my dress suit in a year i should throw it out?
I havent needed to use my power drill in over a year ..i need to throw it out?
I really dont understand this concept. But it overall needs to be stored properly rather than being thrown out.

Only you can decide what to toss and what to save. Once you have done this, then get a maid. Check with some of your friends or neighbors, they may be able to recommend someone that they use. The prices vary greatly and if you can find someone who is reliable and not with an agency they are much more reasonable.

I am starting a house cleaning buizz and was wondering about what to charge. Is $80-$100 for the first clean on a average sized house a decent rate to charge?

It depends on your skill level
if ur just getting into the biz : 50-100 dollars
if u have been doing this for like 2 years : about 200-250 dollars
if you have been like doing this for like 3 years or 4 years : 300- 350 dollars
anything above that : 500 but it also depends on how much ur cleaing and how long.
but if its like an hourly rate then like
50 an hour. (: hope i helped u any. (:

Does anyone have a good house cleaning schedule?

I am trying to find a good schedule for house cleaning. So I can stay on track and not spend my wheels cleaning the same parts of my house everyday. I have heard people mention a rotating schdule to keep a house totally clean. If you have one I would love to view it and see if it would work for me.

I clean windows and any glass one day, do all dusting of wood and knick-knacks – including ceiling fans another day, Clean the bathrooms another day, sweep floors every day with my Irobot, Mop once a month, change the sheets every two weeks. Clean all blankets 1-2 months. I don’t consider myself a wonderful housekeeper and I don’t always stick with this schedule.

I’ve heard good things about FlyLady from a friend. She uses it and she has to clean a house after 7 kids! FlyLady is a Yahoo Group, or at least that’s where you could sign up for it.

Since the auto industry is still taking a dive & selling off auto lines.

Would you buy a car from Walmart if they had a Automotive showroom.

The car would obviously fit into the import category. And offered 2 door,4 door & Mini vans. Trucks & Suvs would come later. And offer
4 & 6 cylinder engines + customizable colors & accessory options.

So would you buy one & do you think they would be a threat to the existing automakers.

Would you sue Walmart-Automotive?

I took my car to walmart for an oil change.The service guy drove it in and they changed the oil. Another service guy started it up and overreved the engine several times, I was there and saw and heard him do it , then he drove it out and parked it. I got in the car and drove it up the road and noticed it was making a noise from the engine and it wasn’t running right. I went back and asked the original service guy to look at it and drive it to see if he could tell what was wrong with it. He did and he told me it was running good when he first drove it in and was not making any noises .I asked him what should I do now. He said take it to a mechanic to see what was wrong. I did. The mechanic said the engine was damaged. I went back to walmart and told them, they called a manager and both of the service guys told the manager it was ok when it came in but it was not now. The manager said that they were not responsible for the damage and they could not help me

continue to make noise at walmart before giving up…. call them everyday go there and raise hell…. do whatever you can eventually they will do their best to make you go away…..

Finding The Directions To Where You Are Going

Knowing where you are going is important. You need to be able to do all that you can to find your way. I know that when I am going somewhere new I want to have directions. I always go to mapquest to find the directions.

I want to make sure that I know where I am going. I know that it is important that I find directions and find them from a reliable source.

Not getting lost is very important. I want to make sure that I understand the directions so that I will not get lost. Knowing that I can drive anywhere I need to be is very important.

I am excited, I will be going on a job interview. I have been seeking a new job and the interview that I will be going on is the job that I really want.

I am using mapquest to find the directions to the interview. I do not want to be late, and I know that I will find the best directions on mapquest that will make sure that I will arrive on time.

Being on time for a job interview is important. It will show that you are reliable and care about the job that you are applying for. Taking the time to make sure that you are on time is the firs step to making a good impression.

I am so glad that I have the right directions, and I am ready to leave. I know that getting there will be easy. I can’t wait to see the new office

Strategies for answering questions at job interviews

When going for a job interview, do not walk in with a script of precisely what you are going to say. If you do too much rehearsal, you will sound like a robot that has been fed stock answers.

What you do need to do is to anticipate common interview questions and think up ways to answer them without sacrificing spontaneity. You need strategies that will allow you enough versatility to accommodate the unexpected twists and turns that accompany all job interviews.

One of the first things to keep in mind is that you must answer the question that has been asked. Sounds basic, doesn’t it? Yet, many people who turn up for interviews do not answer some of the questions asked of them! This is a real disaster and does them no good in eyes of the interviewer. Just listen carefully to what is being asked (as opposed to what you think is being asked) and respond to that. Never mind if your response is not quite perfect according to your perceptions.

Secondly, do not give yes or no answers to interview questions, while at the same time, avoiding the pitfall of being long winded. Think of how copywriters work. When composing an advertisement, they know that they have a very limited space within which they need to get their message out persuasively. In such a situation, every word counts. Take the same approach in job interviews.

When preparing for job interviews, managing your time well is essential for success. Mastering a few good techniques and approaches to students time management will pay you excellent dividends. Of course, time management is critically important to your job search irrespective of whether you are a student or a busy working professional.

Finally, do not get obsessed over the actual wording of your answers. In particular, avoid memorizing answers to interview questions. That can make you sound canned and artificial, which considerably lowers your chances of landing the job you want.

Purple Hair Dye – Ready to Take the Plunge?

Adding any “not so normal” hair coloring, including purple hair dye, to your hair is a major thing to do. Prior to taking this major step, here are a few snippets of advice you need to think about before you go ahead.

1. Do you mind being stared at? Most people who are considering purple hair dye would automatically answer no. However, they may not expect how much attention they really will get once they do the deed. If you think it would be annoying to be constantly referred to as, “The one with the purple hair,” then re-think whether to dye.

2. Can you deal with stains? Purple hair dyes, and all other extreme colors, bleed. Chances are very good you will dye parts of your skin, some clothing and some towels. While the colors will fade out of your skin, it will take some time. The clothing and the towels will be stained permanently.

3. Do you have a serious occasion coming up soon? If there is a family wedding or a serious job interview looming in your future, this may not be the best time to whip out the purple hair dye. Even if you use a temporary color that is supposed to wash out, there is a chance your hair will have a purple cast to it for quite some time.

4. Do you have someone to help you? If you have decided you can handle all these issues and want to try purple hair dye, get a friend to help you. Trying to dye your hair yourself is a messy challenge. You will get better results if a friend applies the dye and rinses it out. It will also be far less messy.

These four questions will help you determine if this is the time for purple hair dye. If it is, be prepared to be noticed.
