Cheating can be quite detrimental to even the strongest of relationships. When a relationship is built on a solid foundation of commitment, focused around a friendship based on trust, respect, honor, faith, honesty, loyalty, and understanding then it can be the strongest of all relationships. In fact, it might be one of those few relationships that is able to stand the test of time.

In a new budding relationship, a couple spends as much time as they can with one another, but as time passes and their commitment with one another deepens, the time they spend with one another becomes less. This is not unusual, but for some females, this lack of quality time can be hard to deal with. What they see as a lifetime commitment with each other is being neglected by the lack of quality time.

At first, the female will begin to feel as if the male is not spending enough time with her, which might be simply because she wants to spend more time with him. This does not necessarily mean anything bad is going on, but then again there is that loyalty issue. She will get little thoughts in her head where she believes he does not want to spend time with her anymore or perhaps he is seeing someone else.

She will have a high sensitivity to each issue that arises where he is involved. If she is doing his laundry and she finds a phone number on the back of a business card, then she will automatically jump to the conclusion that it is someone he is seeing on the side. She will begin smelling his clothes to make sure they do not smell like someone else’s perfume.

All of these things come into play when one individual even feels as if that loyalty has been tampered with. All too often, if these issues are not dealt with, then they will escalate into spats then into arguments then into fights, which could lead to the couple separating.

Is the man at fault here for being insensitive or is the woman at fault for being paranoid? Studies have shown that the majority of men do cheat on the women they are dating as well as their wives. In fact, most women go into a relationship with this fear hanging over their heads. Whenever an individual starts a new relationship, regardless if they are male or female, they dress to impress. The true self does not always come out until further into the relationship.

All too often, once individuals have been in a relationship for some time, they will begin to become comfortable within that relationship. This is not really a bad thing per se, but on the other hand, it can ruin a relationship. The man has come to know the woman as a knock out diva, but when she begins to dress in his baggy sweats, he is not sure what to think of it. He started dating and fell in love with the knock out diva and that is whom he wants at his side.

When women become so comfortable in a relationship it is not unusual for them to often neglect their looks at least around the house every now and then, but when this starts, it tends to become much more frequent. When they go from wearing nice slacks to nice jeans to sweats to staying in their pajamas all day, then a husband is not going to be too impressed.

Men will put up with anything that a woman will throw at them as long as the woman will take care of her appearance. They can run their mouth and have an attitude as long as they still look good on his arm. So, women, if you want to keep your men from cheating, then take care of your appearance, but remember, men will take anything you dish out at them in return.
