Your questions about victory motorcycles

Victory is a very good bike. They are quality built machines very few little problems. Only 2 things negative I can say about them, their fuel injection is rather primative, no where near as advanced and tuneable as HD’s Delphi Closed Loop system, and they are rather exepnsive…compared to HD, purchase price and accessorized, they are more expensive than an HD Dyna fully done up.
There is not much in the way of aftermarket parts for them yet, only a handful of companies making parts and accessorie…BUT…..S&S has finally got on the band wagon and is now producing a full line of performance parts for them.

In my opinion…for me….if money was no issue and I had it too spend on another bike, I would love to own a Victory….I LOVE the Vision!!!!…..but $ for $….and performance and tunabilty, parts and accesory availability, dealership network availabilty, etc…an HD is the better bike….

Yes, they are very nice.
I have ridden a couple, I liked the 2006 Kingpin and I was considering getting one but I decided to stay with my Harley.
There is not too much in the way of accessories for them though but as long as you are happy with the stock bike I would highly recommend a Victory for consideration.

they have a thump thump sound, but it is definatley not the same
these copycat type bikes incorporate a motor with 52 degree cylinders or 54 degree
while a harley’s cylinders are at 45 degree angles, makes a truley one of a kind sound

I have passed and watched many disappear in my mirrors while screaming my FXR up Hwy 40 toward Laughlin. That’s the extent of my experience with Victory,Does that help?
