I want to apply to Sears, but the site keep showing me KMart.Why?

i clicked on ‘Apply for Sears Store & Automotive Hourly Jobs’ and they show me a picture of Kmart and a Kmart heading at the top. I continue through the application and they only ask me about which Kmart I want to choose. Help please.

Actually Kmart bought Sears. The merger was finalized in 2005. That’s why you’re taken to Kmart’s application process online.

If there’s a specific Sears store you want to work at, try going there and applying in person. It’s worth a shot.

Why am I not allowed to be employed at sears when I gave a weeks notice when I quit?

I gave the Automotive department a weeks notice after two-plus years of service because of female co-worker continued to make unwanted advances, even coming to my home. Now Sears in Wichita Ks (Towne West) will not allow me to be re-apply. Instead of seeking a lawyer I chose to give notice and quit…..now I’m thinking I should have hired an attorney.

some companies just have a policy where if you quit, they will not rehire you, even if you give proper notice. it is up to them to do that, there are no laws saying they have to rehire you or anything.

Is Sears Auto Care a good place to start for a newbie mechanic?

I just finish a semester of Automotive Technology too. First semester included Auto Engines and Auto Electrical. Should I start at Sears?

i own a shop,and its a pretty good place to start from,,they don’t do that much heavy mechanic work,so your not going to get a lot of mechanical experience there they do a lot of small jobs,,but don’t take on the large jobs,,but its a good start ,once you work there for a while,,it will be easier to get a better job at a better place,if you just want to stay with minor repair work that would be a good place to start from,but there good to their employees that’s for sure,good luck hope this help,s

Does anyone know where I can find a coupon for Sears automotive online…printable. My car is getting 4 new Falken tires today and I would like to savae some $$$. Thanks

One of the best ways that I have found to save money on tires is to see if they will match the TireRack. The TireRack can drop ship an order to a retailer so that all you have to do is pay for the shipping and installation. This usually saves about $20-30 per tire depending on the brand.

Most retailers will match the price because they want the sale and the profit immediately.
