Laura asks…
Vitamin Water?
I have to creat an invention for my marketing class. I wanted to do vitamin water. This is already invented but i wanted to put a spin on it. I have racked my brain and asked those around me for ideas. Please help!!!

Wize Guy answers:
a great idea would be a vitamin water high in polyphenols, as they are good for the heart, and are antioxidants, also DHA (omega 3′s) and prebiotics are great sellers right now, to combine this without caffiene or artificial sweeteners would be good, also i would include vitamins d and k as they are they are more difficult to get in our diets. top this with a natural flavour like extracted strawbery or kiwi (or both) and you have a winner!!

Nancy asks…

is vitamin water actually good for you?
or do people just think that?

Wize Guy answers:
yes

okay wat is vitamin water??? a bunch of people i know love it. i have never tried it- is it good??? what does it taste like??? is it different from regular water, and how??? and is it healthy for you?? i know, alot of questions, lol, but any info on it i would really appreciate! thank you!!! =]

Wize Guy answers:
Usually it just tastes like water, sometimes there are flavors, some people prefer the flavors because they think they taste something because there are vitamins in the water and sometimes they do taste something because of the vitamins in the water, In other works the all taste different you just have to try them all.
I like the new diet coke with vitamins, it’s a little sweeter than I thought it would be but I like diet coke and it almost makes it healthy to drink soda?!
Read the labels there are lots and see what they have that you might want, I couldn’t hurt could it?

Lisa asks…
vitamin Water?
I have been drinking vitaim water lately but i was wondering if it was even worth it? I asked my science teacher at school and she didn’t even barely look at it so i don’t trust her opinon. So it would be cool if someone could help me out.

Wize Guy answers:
Well, look at the amount of vitamins that it’s giving you? the ans. or for me the question would be am I paying a lot for the vitamins? The water is the good part and that you need very much but vitamins can be delivered into the body by another means such as taking a mulitvitamin and mineral suppliment as well as eating a low sugar, low fat, high protien, highly nutritious diet with a lot of water and no soda except for a special occasion. So, does the amt. of vitamins justify the extra cost of the water? if not then just switch. A lot of people don’t realize that you also need potassium in your drinking water and Disani, is expensive but it does have the electrolytes in it and that is the thing that’s important if you are an athlete and deplete your water doing a sport and then drink to replace it. It really must have the electrolytes in it. If you’re just the average Joe not going to these extremes then regular water and a good diet and vitamin is good enough. Hope this helped.
