What is the show called on the discovery health channel about psychologist doing studies on different infants ranging in ages? One was about the difference between and 5 month old baby and a 6 or 7 month old baby and what happens when the mother leaves the room?? And different ages when the baby can see and focus on object? I wanna say it was something called the Human Baby or something of that nature…

What are some health channels on tv other than discovery health?
Since Discovery Health turned into OWN, all that is showing today are movies. I hate it. I want Discovery Health back, but since it won’t come back, I was wondering if anyone knew any other Health channels. I have Direct Tv.

your cable provider’s website (you can see its’ channel lineup)
or discoveryhealth.com (“channel finder” feature will tell you which channel it occupies in your area).

What will happen to all of the shows on discovery health channel?
After Discovery Health becomes the Oprah Winfrey Network 
what will happen to all of the shows on that channel like Dr. G: Medical Examiner and Mystery Diagnosis? Discovery Health is my favorite channel and I still want to watch all of the shows that I watch now.

That will be completely up to Oprah Winfrey. She is the owner and chairman of the board and will the head of editorial control.
I have a feeling all of her friends like Gayle King will each get their own show which will be nothing but talk, talk, talk, blah, blah, blah.
Whether or not she keeps any of your favorites will most likely depend on which of her friends want that time slot.

Where can I watch programming from Discovery Health after OWN takes over?
I’m very upset that the Oprah Winfrey Network will be replacing Discovery Health come January 1st. I enjoy watching many of the shows on DHC and as far as I know there aren’t any other channels out there that broadcast anything similar (National Geographic is the closest, but their medical programs are rare).
Is there a petition anywhere that is fighting to keep DHC alive?

If you are on facebook….go to the Discovery Health facebook page. Click on “others” and there you will find people taking about how stinky this situation is and there is a link to the petition. You might have to dig a bit. It seems that Discovery doesn’t really want people to organize around their displeasure about their sell-out. And good luck trying to give your opinions on the Oprah page, you will be completely drowned out by all the oprah a**-kissing. As for the other poster, there is no indication that it is a separate channel. OWN will completely take over Discovery Health and the only show they will keep according to the line-up is mystery diagnosis.
