Because of this, a lot of countries stepped in to make wearing a helmet mandatory by including it in their law. They include it in their law to encourage the riders to wear helmets and prevent major injuries in case of an accident.

Safety must be the first thing to be considered and wearing a helmet while driving a motorcycle will be a big help to reduce major injuries in case of an accident.
