Prefolds are simple rectangular cloths that are divided into 3 sections. The outside contains 4 layers of fabric while the inside contains 6 or 8 layers. The common fabrics are again, cotton, hemp, bamboo, etc. These nappies are useful for pocket stuffing and for adding extra absorbency when required.
